Conditioning: Free yourself

Unfortunately, no one can be…told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself.

Can someone “control” you without your knowledge? Can thoughts be deliberately created inside your mind to gain power over your outward actions? Really?  Yes, and yes. Fake News anyone?

I define conditioning as the creation of belief systems within you through external experiences.  Conditioning can happen through  mental, physical, emotional or psychic means.  If you know how this manipulation happens, you can protect yourself from it.

Belief systems surround us like water does the fish. We don’t see them because we swim in them all the time.  When Neo asks, “What is the Matrix?” the reply Morpheus gives is a perfect picture of the results of conditioning:

“The Matrix is everywhere, it is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.”

Definitions that can help you see your conditioning:

Conditioning: Experiences that create our personal belief systems.

Primary Influences: Experiences we have before we can consciously make choices about whether to have them or not,  i.e. experiences as toddlers or  those required by our larger social group before personal power/choice is able to be exercised. An example is  being sent to school.

Belief Systems Answer the BIG questions in life:

-Personal: Personal  interpretation of the reasons for our experiences and their consequences.

-Societal:  A group interpretation of the reasons for our experiences and their consequences, i.e. family, or other institution within the society.

Archetype: Societal Belief System construct that is locally or globally reinforced constantly to the point that it becomes accepted as “truth” to that group; i.e. it is acceptable to lie to your children about the existence of Santa Claus.

Birth:  The first major separation from a previous state of existence to a new one.  Womb to World. Attached (umbilical cord) to Separate.

Toxic Socialization: Experiences that harm us mentally, physically, emotionally, or psychically as we move from birth to adult.

Adult:  Separation from Child status.

-Individual: When one  attains the physical stature of mature growth of the male or female body.

-Societal: A  marker within a particular society’s structure where a person is allowed  participation in that  society’s adult defined privileges (Relative to the child/adult belief rules of that society)
